Since 2009, the passionate professionals within Air Conception company have worked relentlessly to develop and produce innovative paramotors, now recognized worldwide for their technological advancements. The primary objectives outlined in their specifications have been not only met but surpassed, especially in terms of weight and the power delivered by their exclusive paramotor engines.

Since 2024, Air Conception teams have set new objectives to commit to:

In line with this new direction, Air Conception began by studying all engine failure cases through feedback from the pilots flying their paramotors. This allowed them to identify critical components and focus on every part that could directly or indirectly impact the reliability of the engine system.

Air Conception R 280 Xtrem Engine

A worthy successor to the Tornado 280 engine, the new-generation Air Conception R 280 Xtrem offers remarkable performance with a maximum speed of 9,200 rpm. Intended for slalom competitors, tandem pilots and trikes, this extreme engine is a technological gem, offering a power/weight ratio unrivaled to date. Equipped with electric starter, this engine comes in weighing only 30.4 lbs (13.8 kg).

Static thrust levels: 220-242 lbs (100-110 kg) depending on propeller size.
